What came and what's still to come in 2011 (part 2: Paul McCartney)
Paul McCartney
-What came: January-June
· We were thrilled to have Sir Paul’s concerts in Latin America, specifically in Brazil , Peru and Chile .
· The amazing remasters and deluxe editions of McCartney & McCartney II
· Sir Paul earned a Grammy for the Helter Skelter version that appears on Good Evening New York City.
· The unveiling of the first part of the HP cloud.
· The two brand new Paul songs: Best Love (with Steve Martin) and It’s So Easy (Buddy Holly cover)
-What’s still to come: July-December
· The second half of the year has begun with the first dates of the On the Run tour. Few dates have been added across the US during summer, but some rumors claim that the tour might hit the Mexican cities of Guadalajara and Ciudad Juárez during fall.
· We’re expecting the highly anticipated remaster and deluxe edition of Ram, as well as Wings Over America, Wings at the Speed of Sound and Venus & Mars. Some people say some could be published in the early autumn and the rest just in time for Christmas. The one thing that can be said for sure is that there will be at least one big release this year.
· In September, a NYC ballet scored by Paul is supposed to be premiered.
· New and fresh material might be published this year, although it might be delayed until 2012. It’s said that Paul has been working in a standards album and a heavier “garage” record.
· The full unveiling of the HP cloud.

What came and what's still to come in 2011 (part 1)
Half this year has passed and we’ve witnessed several Beatle announcements, rumors and releases. We’re still hoping for bigger news on the second part of the year, but until we have confirmed news, here is a recount of the most important news so far and what we’re expecting for the rest of the year.
The Beatles
-What came: January-June
· Probably the biggest news was the release of the anthologies on iTunes. This included a new iTunes exclusive compilation called “Anthology Highlights”
· The other big news was the fifth anniversary of Love. This celebration was an opportunity for The Beatles family to reunite once more.
-What’s still to come: July-December
· We might be expecting a physical album release for the Anthology Remasters in time for the Christmas market. Considering the Stereo and Mono Remasters of 2009, the Beatles Rockband of 2009 and the Red and Blue album remasters of 2010, this seems a logical next step.
· Other options could be the addition of the Live at the BBC, Yellow Submarine Songtrack or Let It Be...Naked albums to the iTunes catalog or the release of The Beatles Anthology or The Beatles’ movies on Blu-Ray
